i thought i would share some of the songs i have been listening to over then last few days. these are songs that i love to listen to when i'm working around the house. i love to turn it up loud, sing along, and enjoy!

i hope everyone is having a lovely 3 day weekend with their families. its cooling off here and oddly enough i am already looking forward to snow! i cannot tell you how excited i am to wear my "winter" boots and jackets and scarfs! i have to admit i did wear a pair of my knee high leather boots to an interview this week but i had long pants on so the "its not fall yet" police should not have a problem.
tomorrow and tuesday are devins days off so we will be hanging out and getting a few things done around the house. i will be following up with a possible job tomorrow and another on tuesday so we are praying for Gods will to be done. devin applied for another disney internship this past week. he has already been denied for a few of them but not all. we have been praying over this for a few months now and although it was looking like a very possible thing for us now we are thinking it might just be Gods will for us to not be there. not at all what we thought God was leading us to but nothing has been decided yet so we will continue to pray for guidance and see what happens. currently we are praying for guidance over then next 2-3 months and 6-8 months in regards to what path God would have us take. also, like i said before, a job for me. praying for continued health for devin.
i would like to say thanks to maddy for spending the day with me and helping with hanging pictures and such. hopefully tomorrow i will post "after" pictures to follow up this post. (click here) i'm really getting excited about how it looks in "our" home. devin comes home to see what i have done and his usual quote is "i'm happy to see you take pride in your home...... whats for dinner"....... i love him so much he just isnt really a man of many emotions or words until you put a Bible in his hands.
well this blog had become about a lot more then just a few songs so i guess i will end it by leaving you with a picture of a good friend of mine.... she was my roommate during my internship. over the last year and a half we have grown to be great friends, similar taste in many things but different enough to keep things interesting. we have dance the little tea pot dance, spent far too much money at walmart together, and lived with some questionable roommates. i will be forever grateful to this dear friend. we spent many nights chatting on facebook in the past and i see many more in the future!
